Kenneth Smith retired Special Agent, U.S. Department of Justice/DEA and Department of Treasury U.S. Secret Service, Washington D.C., Baltimore, MD, New York City, NY.  As Secret Service Agent Ken was part of Security Details that established the protocol and set in place security walk-through and hand-held detectors on trips for U.S. Presidents, Vice Presidents and many World Leaders both here in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Robert Groth brings a wealth of metal detector experience to KDD. Bob was one of the largest metal detector distributors in the U.S. for a number of years before joining KDD Security Metal Detectors. Bob also is certified in the use of detectors for drug and explosives detection.

Board Members

Bill Andersen  is a retired Law Enforcement Officer with the City of Miami as a Police Officer/Detective cross trained by U.S. Customs. After 9-11, Bill was selected as a U.S. Government Contractor for the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) and was one of the experts who trained and evaluated airport screeners throughout the U.S..

Robert M. Jenkins is the President of Jenkins & Associates, a renowned investigative agency dealing with detection devices covering a broad spectrum of applications and uses. Bob Jenkins has close working relationships with numerous Police Agencies and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Bob is currently directing field operations for many well known corporations.
